Discovering Diversity Profile® (DDP)
This profile measures an individual's opinions and attitudes about workforce
diversity on:
- Knowledge (Stereotypes and Information)
- Understanding (Awareness and Empathy)
- Acceptance (Tolerance and Respect)
- Behavior (Self-Awareness and Interpersonal Skills).
The profiles intepretation section provides feedback and offers improvement
suggestions.
This profile may be used:
- As part of diversity awareness training sessions
- As in-depth training for diversity councils or task forces
- Within work groups for team-building development
- With managers to assist in the coaching process
- Within the community to assist in developing diverse perspectives.
This profile is intended to be used as part of a full-day or 1/2 day
diversity awareness seminar. The seminar addresses the following key topics:
- How aware am I of diversity issues?
- Why should I be learning about diversity?
- Where do I stand on diversity issues?
- How do my perceptions impact my behavior?
- How can I manage diversity in my life?
- What am I willing to commit to changing and developing in my life?
This profile comes complete with a Facilitator's Kit that includes a
scripted seminar leader guide, participant materials, and visuals.
